West Dunbartonshire Community Foodshare

West Dunbartonshire Community Foodshare provide emergency food aid parcels to anyone who requires it.  They will accept self referrals or agency referrals.   

West Dunbartonshire Community Foodshare food distribution centres are currently closed.  Services will be delivered 4 days per week from their base to your home.

Food for Thought

Food for Thought provide emergency food aid parcels to anyone who requires it.  They will accept self referrals or agency referrals.  They can be contacted by any of the following routes:

Food for Thought distribution centres are as follows:

  • Monday to Friday, Unit 14a Artizan Shopping Centre, Dumbarton 10am - 5pm;
  • Tuesday’s, CATRA Centre, 5 Alexander Street, Alexandria 11.00am - 12pm;
  • Monday’s, St Stephens Chapel Hall, Park Road, Dalmuir 11.00am - 12pm;
  • Thursday’s,  Clydebank Community Sports Hub, Dean Street, Clydebank -  11.00am to 12pm.

These are drop in sessions and no referral needed

Old Kilpatrick Food Parcels

Old Kilpatrick Food Parcels (OKFP) help any resident of Old Kilpatrick, Bowling & Dalmuir, without the need for a referral. 

They can be contacted by any of the following routes:

OKFP distribution venues are as follows:

  • Old Kilpatrick – OKFP Hub, Unit 5 Station Road Industrial Estate G60 5LP open Monday-Friday 12pm - 1pm;
  • Bowling – Jim’s Shop & Snack, Main Street, Bowling open Wednesday 12pm - 1pm;
  • Dalmuir – Barclay Church, Durban Avenue open Wednesday 12pm - 2pm;
  • Clydebank – Park Christian Church, Shelley Drive open Friday 12pm - 1pm.

Community Pantry

Pay £2.50 for up to 10 items from fresh, frozen, tins and toiletries, open times: 

  • Wednesday 11am - 2pm
  • Thursday 7pm - 8pm
  • Friday 11am - 2pm

Also run a free drop in cafe, which is open Wednesday & Friday.

Faifley Food Share

Faifley Food Share provide emergency food parcels on Tuesday and Friday’s in Faifley Parish Church Hall between 10am and 11am for Faifley residents and between 11am  and 12pm for those from other areas.  No referral is needed.
